SEND Offer

At Grange Park Primary school, we feel strongly that every child should reach or exceed their potential. We are committed to offering an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all of our pupils whatever their needs or abilities. Not all pupils with disabilities have special educational needs and not all pupils with SEN meet the definition of disability but this offer covers all of these pupils.

We consider that the needs of the individual child are key to their learning success.
Children’s progress is constantly monitored and assessed and careful records are kept. Sometimes we find that a child does not make the progress we expect and, when this happens, we talk to parents/carers and appropriate steps are put in place to support the child.

The school will always work in partnership with parents, who are kept fully informed at every stage once we have identified that their child could benefit from some extra help. This could be for educational, personal and social or physical needs.  The support may be short term or longer term.
